Skillnet Automotive Academy - Recruiting & Training Apprentices

Skillnet Automotive Academy was established in 1997 and was one of the first training providers in the motor industry to achieve the prestigious Training Quality Standard award in 2008. In 2010 we also obtained Grade one "Outstanding" status from Ofsted and this was followed up with the achievement of "Beacon" status later that same year.

We operate nationally and can offer a full range of training services to employers and employees. Each year we manage the training for more than 2,500 people.

Across our national range of training centres we offer excellent facilities for light vehicle and heavy vehicle technical training. We also offer a full range of non-technical training courses in sales, customer service, administration and parts. We can help you find, recruit and train Apprentices in all motor related disciplines, through our excellent links with schools and Connexions.

Each year we get more than 15,000 applications from people looking to enter the motor industry – one of them could be your ideal next Apprentice

Who we work with

We are proud to deliver the national apprenticeship programmes for Ford Motor Company, DAF Trucks, Scania Great Britain and Kia Motors. In addition we deal with hundreds of independent garages and repair businesses across the UK
